OUR STORY
Alegre Play is a unique children’s play space in East Kensington, Philadelphia, founded by pediatric occupational therapist Dr. Kristin Hart. She envisioned a safe, cozy haven where children ages 0–5 can play freely and parents can connect with one another.
OUR MISSION
We aim to create an inclusive, joyful environment where every child can thrive through play-based learning, sensory exploration, and social interaction. Our dedicated staff is trained to support the diverse needs of all children.
Our Philosophy
Alegre Play takes a holistic approach to child development, designing thoughtful play experiences that nurture each child’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth in a safe, welcoming environment.
We celebrate the richness of bilingualism by weaving English and Spanish throughout our space and programming, creating a community where both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking families feel equally at home.
